....that Nietzsche was a pretty intelligent man, but Me and Julie never quite gotten into his books as we did some of the other philosophers, but I did stumble upon this quote that I really like.

"And those who were seen dancing

were thought to be insane

We all have so many reasons to get up and dance.

weekend trips

Ninghai was beautiful. We didn't really have any plans or know anything about the place other than there were hot springs, so the entire trip was just full of fun surprises, and only the good kind of surprises. Not the bad ones like pop quizzes, but the good ones like a ride down the mountain from a car instead of a scary bus and sitting in a flower scented hot spring while workers pouring steaming water on you. I think i'm learning to like surprises a lot since being in China. I've developed this "come what may and love it" kind of attitude.

{jules} Zgot and I went backpacking with his siblings for a starting-summer-off-right bash. We caught frogs, floated down the river and shot mice with blow guns. 

{megs} A few things I love about this picture; the old lady ribbon dancing, the crowds gathered to watch her, the matching tour hats, and the fact that she is AWESOME at ribbon dancing. I want to be her one day, just dancing in the park without a care in the world bringing entertainment to soooo many people.

{jules} scotty came down and made me crepes, helped me study and watched oceanography documentaries with me. so glad i've got the best company.

{megs} This is the beautiful Temple of Heaven with a clear blue sky that I am learning to love since it doesn't come around too often.

{megs} Oh i'm just contemplating this awesome life we have and the experiences we are able to enjoy.

 {megs} The Great Wall was just as great as it sounds. It was even more beautiful since we were on an unrestored part and were the only people allowed. I say "allowed" loosely, being as we passed a large sign saying no tresspassing.

{jules} The best part of the last few weeks of school is that my roommates and I bring out our beds for some MEGABED! Its weird to think that this is the last time megabed will be happening with me since from aug 18 till forever I will be muurriieed.

spring fever

{megs} We had an Easter egg hunt yesterday for the kids. I loved seeing them so excited, because they had never done anything like it before. It was difficult explaining Easter to them as just the bunny/egg/candy part and not the true meaning, but seeing as i'm in China that was my only choice. I hope your Easter was as egg-citing as mine was with these kiddos.

{jules} i am in love with the great weather right now but Utah has tricked me for 20 years so this year, i am not fully celebrating the lovely spring weather until i really see it is here to stay.
