{megs} Shanghai is referred to as the Paris of the East and on this street I felt like I was in Europe, then I saw all the Asians and remembered where I was.

{megs} Oh these girls are trouble- but so cute with their signature peace signs. Everyday we make the kids recite the rules and they add on rule number 6 teacher is beautiful. I can live like this.

 {jules} went to scott's cabin over the weekend with some of ma gurls. 

{megs} Teaching is so hard and overwhelming so today this is helping me know I can do this.

{megs} This is us at church, it was a 45 minute drive (the scariest/prettiest drive of my life) on a little island with the best family i've met. Church was amazing and we got to eat American food and i thought i would die it was so good. One day it will be warm enough for me to take off my coat.

{jules} spent saturday driving to rexburg to play a show at Sammy's.

{megs} Well I made it to China and found this gem at a market. It was three USD and I am regretting that I did not buy it. Their English is hilarious.

{jules} my six year old drawings were really good. apparently my dad was overweight in my eyes. 

treats&snoozin

{megs} Chinese cotton candy that tasted like peaches, except the others thought it tasted like fish. There was a huge carnival still going on for chinese new year and fireworks are literally constantly going off. I'm experiencing insane things. 

{jules} I went to rexburg on saturday with the band & the best bus driver (pictured above). 24 hour road trips are the greatest, especially with good snacks & good people. Thanks to my cousin jenny who let us crash on her floor. I cannot believe how heavily enforced rexburg's curfew is. There is just not a choice to stay out late

miss you megs

{jules} where in the world is megan anne? she left yesterday for her adventure to china. here i am in the honor's lounge missing her. i stayed home from school on tuesday to avoid a mental breakdown, knowing that it was her last day on american soil for sometime.
